Gay and Straight People (GASP) is an unofficial group of students and faculty members at Pacific Union College, a Seventh Day Adventist Liberal Arts College located in the hills above Napa Valley, California, who aim to support the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) students at the college through honest conversation and open discourse. Since September 2008 this community has functioned as a support group for LGBTQ students, allowing them to talk openly about the issues they face and to receive guidance from others who are going through similar experiences. The club also invites straight student and faculty allied who would like to become more familiar with the challenges faced by LGBTQ individuals to participate in supportive conversation and activities. We meet every other Wednesday evening at 8:00 pm on campus when school is in session.

In addition to providing support and networking, GASP aims to further the well-being of LGBTQ students on campus through education and activism designed to fight ignorance, intolerance, and homophobia both at PUC and in our society, and advance the core Christian values of love and justice.
